Abstract

WORKING PRINCIPLE OF BRUSHLESS MOTOR 1000 KV OF FLYING ROBOT QUADCOPTER (2014:xi + 44 page + list of images) Edu Yudha Prawira 0611 3033 0268 Electrical Engineering Departement Telecommunication Engineering Along with industry development, the needs of electric motor that have high efficiency, speed, and torque, and inexpensive treatment is increasing. However, the motor that now is often used, such as induction motor and DC motor, failed to meet the needs. Therefore, BLDC motor is used to overcome the needs of efficiency, speed, torque, and the treatment cost. BLDC motor is a 3 phase synchronous motor. It’s called BLDC because BLDC uses DC source but it’s inverted to 3 phase AC using 3 phase motor drive or inverter. There are two methods in controlling BLDC motor. They are six-step method and PWM sinusoidal method. Six-step method is a method that is used widely in commercial BLDC motor. It’s because it easy to be implemented and the algorithm is simple. However this method produce rms current higher and more noisy than PWM sinusoidal method. So to overcome this weakness, the PWM sinusoidal method is used. To support the commutation process in BLDC motor so the constant speed and torque can be obtained, sensor hall is used Brushless DC motors are one of the important tools in this sequence to generate EMF behind the wave or trapezoidal box. Brushless DC motor when the voltage of the power supply to get it to move round draft turned in a magnetic field. This round will also produce a magnetic torque on the rotor.
