Abstract

Controlling visibility on television is the development of automated tools that have been made one of them is Puji Lestari Sriwijaya State Polytechnic student class of 2008 where the title of the tool that's been made is "Television Sensor With Automatic Visibility Measurement" where the tool that created television will automatically turn off and here we are as a writer developed tool titled "Maintaining Eye Health through Control Visibility on television automatically". This tool consists of a series of hardware and software parts. The hardware consists of sensors Ping Range Finder, ATMega16 microcontroller, LCD, Power Supply, IC and software programming language such as BASCOM AVR. This tool works the sensor will capture the presence of someone who is watching television and from the sensor will send a command to mikokontroller in order to turn the sound on and off television for otomatus. The three circumstances that occur are at a distance of 178 cm television in a normal state when the distance is more than 150 less than 177 then the television will sound as a warning and at a distance of less than 149 and more than one then the TV will automatically turn off and turn back on when has returned to a safe distance. Through this work the system can help us in control while watching television, so that the existence of these tools can help us to maintain eye health, being exposed to the disease in the eye myopia or nearsightedness.
