Abstract

Mobile robot with gas leak detection using XBee Module is a mobile robot that can detect gas leaks. With the development of advanced technology then designed a mobile tool that aims to detect gas leaks are equipped with communications technology data delivery to a gas leak warning computer display through the application of the XBee module. It can be applied in the industrial world or in monitoring large environments to communicate between mobile robots, sensors and users using the XBee module. By using the XBee module is useful to establish communication between the maker of the robotic control to be communicated by wireless. Mobile robot using a gas leak detector sensor gas detector TGS 2600 as, Arduino as a robot controller, SRF04 sensor navigation system as well as the XBee module as a warning communication for data transmission and gas leaks are detected gas concentration values. Mobile robots will look for the source of a gas leak with the help of sensor tgs 2600 contained in the robot itself, the robot will stop when it has detected a gas leak sources and transmit data in the form of LPG gas levels via the XBee module. The performance of the mobile robot to detect LPG gas leakage is detected on a computer display with software applications using communication media Coolterm XBee module.
