Abstract
This final report studied about designing video script of how to design phone case as souvenir using Palembang tourism objects illustration. The purpose of this research is to find out the steps of designing video script of how to design phone case as souvenir using Palembang tourism objects illustration.The writer used Research and Development method modified by Sukmadinata (2019). The writer only conducted two steps of R&D method: (1) preliminary study: Literature Study, Field Survey which contains of documentation, observation, and interview, and Model Drafting. (2) model development consisted of Limited Testing and Wider Testing. In model development, the draft of video script regarding the English language, the steps of how to design the phone case, and the format of the video script was revised by several experts. The video script was written by using a screenwriting software called WriterDuet. The writer did not do final testing and dissemination because lack of time and cost. In conclusion, the writer wrote the video script by using R&D method by Sukmadinata (2019) linked to the five stage of writing script by Boon (2008): Doing Research, Concept, Drafting, Editing, Final Draft. Due to the lack of time and cost, the writer stopped the project until editing stage
