Abstract

Peroration is the most critical stage owell completion steps, conventional peroration method involving explosivematerials hasmany shortcomings, especially in terms o transportation and handling, dificulties in operation and other dangerous conditions that cause explosives gun to all into the well. Thereore, the Abrasive Peroration method is the right choice or the uture. The use o proppant as an abrasive media causes problem in cleaning the remaining proppant that settles in the wellbore. Thus, the use o calcium borate which has abrasive properties and can dissolve inhydrochloric acid is expectedtoovercometheproblems that exist in the proppant. Thereore, it does not require cleaning action and can save operating time, costs and increase saety on the operational side at the same time.
