Abstract
Population and Civil Registry Department is department which have function on arrangement and document publishing, and population data by people registering, civil registry, processing the information administration of population, and used the result for public service. The Office Building of Population and Civil Registry Department of Palembang City is on Demang Lebar Daun Street Number 4255. Previous, indeed there are office buliding at that place, but the volume of people population in Palembang is more and more increasingly, so the Department must reform to keep their existence and increase the public service, by construct a new 3 floor’s office building. The title of this final report is the The Planning of Office Building of Population and Civil Registry Department of Palembang City. The planning of this building is using primary data that collected from field observation, and supporting data which were analyzed using the formula of several books. Basic theory calculations using SNI-03-2748-2002 on Concrete Structures, Reinforced Concrete Structures by Istimawan, Reinforced Concrete Calculation Table by Gideon, etc.. The concrete quality in this plan is use 30 MPa and 20 MPa, and the steel quality is 240 MPa and 400 MPa. The end result of the planning of this building is it uses steel roof construction, concrete structures for beams, columns and sloof, and also we use footing foundations. And based on author’s calculations can be concluded that the structural design of the building is stable and safe. Keywords: Planning, Building, Structure
