Abstract

This final report aims to design a script for a novella titled "Knock Clock". The purpose of this research is to find the steps to design the script for the novella "Knock the Clock". In this final report, the writer used the method of research and development modified in Sukmadinata (2005). The writer gathered data through observations, documentation and interviews, designed the script and cover for the novella theories. The steps in designing novella script consist in 5 stages; prewriting, writing, revision, editing and publishing. The novella script was designed directly by the writer and then passed on to the experts. As a result of this research, the writer created a novella titled "Knock the Clock". The writer has some suggestions. First, the writer hopes that this report will be one of the sources for readers to write the final report of the script design of the novella and continue to develop new ideas. Then to the readers of novels who can develop the abilities, ideas and techniques that can foster the creativity of making their own products.
