Abstract
The purpose of this final report is to observe the differences between the theories and the implementations of Batak Toba tribe traditional wedding ceremony. The writer collected the data by doing observation method. For this final report, the writer observed two Batak Toba tribe traditional wedding ceremonies. After that, the writer identified the steps of Batak Toba tribe traditional wedding ceremonies, and writer found the differences between the theories and the implementations. The differences are on Paulak Une and Mangikir Tangga. Nowadays, Batak Toba people do not do these steps because of effectiveness time and money. Keywords: Batak Toba, Wedding ceremony.
