Abstract

This final report is aimed to write a short story entitled “Best Part” to promote tourism destination in Pagaralam. The purpose of this final report to introduce tourism destination in Pagaralam by a short story. The problem is how to write a short story as one of media to introduce tourism destination. In this final report, the writer used research and development by Sukmadinata. The writer collected the data by using observation as a reference for writing a short story and documentation to get information. The short story was written by the writer and then given to experts. The results shows the short story can be used as an alternative way to introduce tourism destination. The writer expects, the student of English department can be more creative and innovative in introducing the tourism destination as well as sharpen the writing skill.
