Abstract
The aim of this research was to know how to Design a video script of Making Gulo Puan as Culinary Tourism Food from Palembang using steps of writing script by Friedman (2006). The methodology of this research was Research and Development Method (R&D) adapted from Plomp (1997). The steps were: (1) Preliminary Investigation; (2) Designing; (3) Realization/construction; (4) Testing. Evaluation, and Revision; and (5) Implementation. In the preliminary investigation, the writer did Background Research and Investigation of Subject Matter. In Designing, the writer created scriptwriting process which is about concept or an outline and treatment which is about structure and arrangement of scenes. In Realization/construction, the writer did the first draft of Video Script. In Testing, evaluation and revision. There were limited testing to improve the product into the final version. There were 3 experts chosen purposively: English linguistic expert, Programmer expert and content expert who participated in giving comments and suggestion for the developing of the product. The data revealed that the script had revision in English script, the experts mention some language and grammar mistake about academic writing from the expert in limited testing. In Implementation, the writer implemented some critics and advices from the experts to the final draft of video Script
