Abstract
The heart rate is the number of heartbeats per unit of time is usually minutes. The heart rate is based on the number of ventricular contraction. The heart rate may be too slow and too fast. To be able to determine the slow or fast heartbeat is usually done by pressing the wrist area or use a stethoscope, but it is still manual. Modern technology allows us to create an automated instrument in monitoring the heart rate via a PC. This tool will read the heart rate per minute as nikrabel after the results of pembacaanya will be processed in the microcontroller ATmega16 and a total of calculating heart rate per minute will be displayed on the LCD, while the rhythm of the heartbeat will be visualized into a PC in the form of graphs.
