Abstract
Laporan akhir ini dibuat dengan tujuan untuk merancang suatu sistem penyimpanan kearsipan di unit Secretarial And Protocol PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk kantor pusat Palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan teknik obesrvasi, wawancara beberapa literature yang berhubungan dengan studi tentang arsip dan Microsoft Excel 2016 untuk mendapatkan hasil yang memuaskan. Hasil temuan menunjukkan terdapat beberapa rancangan sistem kearsipan elektronik yaitu pembuatan sistem kearsipan elektronik dengan menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2016, pengujian serta pengimplementasian sistem dengan memasukkan data-data surat masuk. Pada aplikasi kearsipan elektronik menggunakan visual basic for application di Microsoft Excel 2016 terdapat berbagai form meliputi form login, form daftar, form utama, form surat masuk dan form pencarian. Berdasarkan kesimpulan, maka penulis menyarankan agar unit kerja Secretarial And Protocol menerapkan sistem kearsipan elektronik yang telah dirancang guna mempermudah pekerjaan dalam mengelola arsip, tidak menggunakan jaringan internet dalam pencarian surat, menghemat tempat, terdapat tempat khusus dalam satu sistem yang bisa langsung memudahkan dalam menginput hasil scan surat masuk, kerahasiaan arsip terjamin serta memiliki form pencarian surat yang memiliki beberapa kategori agar lebih memudahkan dalam pencarian surat.
