Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi informasi saat ini sangat berpengaruh pada setiap perusahaan atau instansi yang menjalankan kegiatan bisnis dan tugasnya. Novotel Palembang Hotels and Residence adalah salah satu perusahaan swasta yang bergerak di bidang pariwisata di Kota Palembang. Dalam menjalankan aktivitasnya, hampir setiap bagian pada Novotel Palembang Hotels and Residence menggunakan sistem semi-komputerisasi. Namun, pada pengelolaan data cuti karyawannya masih menggunakan sistem konvensional yang menyebabkan rentan kesalahan dalam memasukkan data, kerusakan data, dan proses yang membutuhkan waktu lama. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, maka diperlukan adanya aplikasi yang dapat mengelola proses pengajuan karyawan Novotel Palembang Hotels and Residence yang berbasis website. Sehingga dengan adanya aplikasi tersebut diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan kinerja karyawan pada Hotel Novotel Palembang.
