Abstract

The purpose of this research was conducted to find out the influence of the using of hazelnut shell and concrete waste as a substitute for coarse aggregate on mixed AC-BC, knowing the test results improved stability on the mix AC-BC with the variation of 5.5%, mixed 6.5% and 7.5% hazelnut shell and waste concrete and getting a mix of AC-BC which economically by utilizing waste concrete and pecan shells. This research was conducted in the laboratory of laboratory materials and Transportation Department civil engineering State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya with Marshall testing tool. Making test sample that is as much as 90 15 objects test to determine levels of optimum asphalt, 15 built for test object s hazelnut shell variation of 5% and 95% of the concrete waste of coarse aggregate volume, 15 built objects to test variations of the hazelnut shell by 25% and 75% of concrete waste of coarse aggregate volume, 15 built for test object hazelnut shell variation by 50% and concrete waste by 50% of the volume of coarse aggregate , 15 built for test object hazelnut shell variation of concrete waste 75% and 25% of the volume of coarse aggregate, and 15 fruit test objects for the variation of 95% hazelnut shell and concrete waste by 5% of the volume of coarse aggregate. Testing in the laboratory using general specifications Bina Marga. From the test results that the values obtained Marshall test value the highest stability there is in the hazelnut shell variation of 5% and 95% of the concrete waste of coarse aggregate volume i.e. of 3651,88 kg and on hazelnut shell variation of 25% and 75% of concrete waste of coarse aggregate volume i.e. of 2278,08 kg. Key words: Asphalt Concrete Binder Course (AC-BC), Stability, Hazelnut Shell, Waste Concrete, Marshall Test
