Abstract

This is the project design of geometric and rigid pavement Tugu Nanas – Sp.Meo Prabumulih South Sumatera Province sta. 5+250 to sta. 14+000. Road construction is a very important requirement as the main supporter of economis activity both at central and regional levels. One is the area of reed Tugu Nanas – Sp.Meo because these two areas are potensial areas for agribusiness and argo-industries. In the making off thesis, the writer wants to know how good planning inthe the planning and design of geometric rigid pavement thickness on road, so the path to be traversed can provide safety, comfort, and economical for road users. In planning Street Tugu Nanas – Sp.Meo author designed the plan based on road class, the classification level of the road, the traffic load. Obtained from the calculation of ADT 1517,62 smp road is classified in class II B (secondary road) which has a value 1500 – 8000 smp on Highway Geometric Planning Regulation. Base load capacity of 7,13 % of land with eight corners which is kind of 3 Full Circle (FC), 2 Spiral – Spiral (SS), 3 Spiral Circle Spiral (SCS). Based on the calculation of the cost obtained in the planning of road Tugu Nanas – Sp.Meo Rp 40.050.336.000,00 (Fourty Bilion Fifty Milion Three Hundred Thrity-Six Thousand Rupiah). In the geometric design of highway planning, things are reference in planning include the calculation of horizontal alignment, vertical alingment, ADT, grade roads, traffic growth and define what to use pavement. Key word : The road, geometric design, thickness of rigid pavement.
