Abstract
Overcurrent is a disturbance that often occurs in the distribution network. Overcurrent can result in damage to the unit and dangerous to human, therefore, SCADA based overcurrent security is installed so that it detects disturbance and secure it. By using the formula of short circuit current and the current setting and TMS relay protection, so obtained setting of current on the protection relay is 2.35 A and TMS is 0.12. The operation of overcurrent safety can be done remotely using SCADA system, which utilizes communication network with a frequency from 900 until 907,5 MHz. By using the SCADA system disturbance can be isolated and known the location of disturbance, so that maintenance and repair can be done. After maintenance and repair is done, CB can be connected again by using a SCADA system. Keywords : SCADA, Security Over current, and Relay Protection
