Abstract

Tofu Wastewater know a lot of waste containing organic material which can be processed into biogas to meet the energy needs in Indonesia as well as reduce waste pollution discharged into the environment. The use of microbes for decomposition of organic matter derived from cow rumen to be performed prior acclimatization process to get a starter with the appropriate content of anaerobic microbes. Gas formation process will be carried out after the starter is ready to use digester type of beam with batch systems. To get a good biogas used 3 comparison of flow rate and residence time for 4 days. The flow rate used was 0.33 L / m, 3 L / m, and 5.33 L / m and analyzed methane content at the time of stay 2,3, and 4 days. After analysis at the same time stay obtained the highest methane content at a flow rate of 5.33 L / m, while the flow rate of 5.33 L / m obtained the highest methane content at the time of stay 4 days Key words : Industrial tofu wastewater, anaerobic, biogas, batch
