Abstract
The title of this final report is Designing Rumah Rakit as Culinary Tourism Object. The writer searched object that is more specific and unique to create an interesting idea, that is Rumah Rakit as floating restaurant. By exploring the potency of the Rumah Rakit, it can provide benefits for the community and the city of Palembang itself. The problem is how to design Rumah Rakit as Culinary Tourism Object. The purpose of this final report is to provide the idea about designing Rumah Rakit as Culinary Tourism Object. Procedures are used in this design include; The idea, collection of data, analysis, design, and evaluation. Data or information that were collected are related to the idea and be used in the next design stage, such as: Floating building, Rumah Rakit, components of floating building for small scale, restaurant, and kinds of restaurant.
