Abstract

The tittle of this final report is The Potency of Salib Kasih as Tourism Destination in North Sumatra. The purpose of this report is to to investigate whether Salib Kasih is potential as a tourism object in North Sumatra or not. The data were collected by using observation, interview and documentation. The infrastructure of Salib Kasih tourism object is quite good. There are many hospitality facilities and services such as hotels and traditional restaurant near Salib Kasih area. To support the activity of tourism it needs the travel agents and tourist information centre. The transportation facilities are private and public transportation. The result shows that the development potencies of Salib Kasih are suitable with theory in the field because supporting by a beautiful building and infrastructure like; road, transportation, hospitality facilities and service.
