Abstract

The purpose of this reaserch was to determine how much the influence of financial compensation on employee job satisfaction at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Regional Division III South Sumatera. The objects used in this study are employee at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Regional Division III South Sumatera. The sample ini this research were 67 samples and used a Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The data was taken from questionnaire dan library research. The data was analyzed by using quantitative and qualitative techniques. Results of the questionnaire were processed by using SPSS for Windows version 22 to get results through validity, reliability, and multiple linear regression analysis. Through the questionnaire author can know how big influence of financial compensation on employee job satisfaction at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Regional Division III South Sumatera. The result shows, employee job satisfaction is not only influenced by variable financial compensation. It is visible from the value of the coefficient of determination only 0.658 or 38% while the rest of 0,620 or 62% is influenced by other variables. While the most dominant variable that influence on employee job satisfaction in this research is a variable bonuses of 0,820 or 82%.
