Abstract
The purpose of this final report is to determine the effect of job satisfaction and work discipline on employee performance at PT Daya Kobelco Construction Machinery Indonesia cabang Palembang. The independent variable in this study is the job satisfaction and work discipline, while the dependent variable is the employee performance. The sample in this study was 51 employees of PT Daya Kobelco Construction Machinery Indonesia cabang Palembang. TheData were collected through interviews, observation and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the analysis of the multiple regression which means showed that the job satisfaction and work discipline by employee performance ratings of two variables are equal to 81,9% while the rest influenced by other factors. The authors suggest that PT Daya Kobelco Construction Machinery Indonesia cabang Palembang should be able to continue to maintain and improve job satisfaction and work discipline in order to achieve employee performance better.
