Final Report of theDepartment of Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical EngineeringStudies, Concentrationof heavy Equipment, Polytechnic ofSriwijaya. 2014: xiv ±59pages DumpTruckis oneunit ofheavy equipmentthatis almostalwayscan be foundin themining and construction process. In line with thedevelopment of science and technology in themodernera, a lot of simulations that have beencreated, bothin the form of simulationon the screenorinthe size of theprototy pesimulation. The working principle in this simulation toolthatusesa DC electric motoras the driving and battery as the energy supplier. This toolcan dothatthere is a general movement in the actual dump truck. Starting from the movementun load and can run. But att his too lin the process of combining thet wo movements are rearunloaddumpdumpdumpandsidedump trucks which usually only have one dump unload process. Transport capacity of the tool that is equal to2kg and requires a servo motoras the driving rear dump and side dumpbecause it has a torque of12kg/cm, while the forward and reverse motion is simulated using the wiper motor. The simulation consistsof several parts:the substructure, the upper frame, tub, and acabinthat requireprocessing timefor320 minutes and require the production cost of Rp 2.500.000,-.The results of planning simulation dump truck can also be used as a medium of teaching in the learning activities for the students of Department of Mechanical Engineering, Polytechnic of Sriwijaya.
