Abstract

Bicycle Design of Load Carriage Towing Capacity 200 kg (2014: 64 Pages + XXX + + List of Tables List of Figures Abstract) DADANG SAPUTRA 0610 3020 0819 MAJORING IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING STATE POLYTECHNIC OF SRIWIJAYA The main goal of the design bicycle towing a cart load capacity of 200 kg is to assist the process of removal tools and spare parts maintenance and repair garage with workshop tools carts containing average human strength. Currently bike towing carts are still not widely used because of its use in the workshop environment is still using conventional principles. The author would like to know is it possible to create a vehicle that is effective, efficient, low cost and used. The design of this wagon towing bike done by designing a three-wheeled vehicle and two wheels in the rear as the anchoring point of the total weight. Equipment-equipment that is planned to design a bicycle towing a wagon load capacity is 200 kg tread on the crank driving force for 1529.1575 N. In planning a bicycle towing a wagon, there are two parts that do care, which is care planned (Planned Maintenance) and treatment unplanned (unplanned Maintenance), elements that should be taken into account is the frame (chassis), chain and sprockets, shafts, bearings, steering system (steering) and the welding strength.
