Abstract
(Maharani Puspa Ratu, 2016, 49 pages, 23 pictures, 1 figure) The purpose of this study is to design the booklet of Al-Munawar Village in Palembang. The Research and Development Method method by Sukmadinata et al. (2005) was used to design the booklet. The Research and Development which modified consists of preliminary srudy, model development, and final product testing. Firstly, in preliminary study, the booklet draft was design based on the literature study, interview and observation about Al-Munawar Village in Palembang. Second, in model development, the booklet draft of Al-Munawar village was evaluated by the comments or suggestions of some experts in limited and wider field testing. The experts commented on the contents of the booklet draft like adding or completing the information included in the booklet. In final product testing, the revised booklet was checked by two experts in term of information about Al-Munawar Village and booklet design. The valuable comments from the experts helped the writer to design the final product entitled “Al-Munawar Village” booklet.
