Abstract

This report aims to determine the effectiveness and contribution of tax revenue with a warning letter and forced letter in Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Palembang Ilir Barat 2012-2015. The focus of this study is the active tax collection action through a warning letter and forced letter in the form of issuance and disbursement of the slips of paper and nominal, total arrears insurer tax and tax revenue on KPP Pratama Palembang Ilir Barat during 4 (four) years. This study used descriptive qualitative method for giving you an idea whether a warning letter and forced letter had been effective or not and how big contribution given by the effectiveness formula and contribution tax collection. The result show that a warning letter and forced letter in 2012-2015 classified as ineffective, and the contribution given was very low, therefore it is required efforts both internal or eksternal to increase tax revenues.
