Abstract
At this time early warning system is very important, the incidence of flooding is sometimes difficult to detect ,can be flood suddenly and cause substantial losses, the height of the river cannot be always monitored, it is necessary to the development of early warning system for floods that could accessed remotely, the purpose of the tool is to create an early warning system of floods are easy to operate and effective to detect the arrival of the flood, the system uses a microcontroller arduino mega with ultrasonic sensors ping as the level gauge and message as a tool notifiers warning flood. The draft concept starts from arduino mega used to process sensor data from any measurement of water level stated in three circumstances. The water level of water 6-10 cm (standby 3),11-15 cm (standby 2),and 16-20 (standby 1).when the water level has exceeded the set point or is in one state of the water level, then the system arduino give orders through wavecom modem to send message to cell phone users or people form the detected level data so that people can be aware and know the development of the water level.
