Abstract
A flood of natural disasters often hit several cities in Indonesia, especially during the rainy season. This is because setting the drains are still not well organized but it is also due to the state of the ground surface is lower than in other regions. And the current state of the weather conditions that can change where rain and wind storms often comes quickly and simultaneously. As well as the rain that occurred upstream, which resulted in the flow of water large and fast flowing. While the control system of sluice gates at the river today still use the system as a conventional observation water level and operation of the sluice is still done by humans. So that it causes the operators controlling the floodgates are having trouble. Using PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) as the core control system, DC motor as sluice gates and water pumps as a conduit for moving water. Then Design Miniature Controller Level And Sluice Sei Bendung Palembang Using a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is designed in the form of props small scale that can simulate a control mechanism sluice gates and water pumps automatically and semi- automatically based on the height of the water level using a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) where there are three water levels are normal, alert, and there are two states of emergency and the floodgates are normal and emergency conditions. And programming control systems of control using a software program specifically CX-Programmer 9.0 use PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) brand OMRON.
