Abstract

Synchronous generator (alternator) is an electric machine that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. Operation of the generator required a generator of stability in order to become optimal performance. To serve the growing electrical load and at the time of maximum load, the alternator operation is usually carried out in parallel. The purpose of doing this study to determine the effect of synchronization on the parameters of electricity and the distribution in each generator working in parallel. Load used by consumers will affect the amount of active power and reactive power on each generator working in parallel. PT. Pertamina (Persero) RU III Plaju installed load of 50 MW. But the load used in PT. Peramina (Persero) RU III Plaju which is an average of 27.1 MW. PT. Pertamina (Persero) RU III Plaju process penyingkronan two generators used for the interconnection relay penyinkronannya Of the parallel work of two active power generator produces a daily average of around 26.82 MW. There is a loss of 1.65 MW of power under the comparison between the results of observations with calculations.
