Abstract
The main purpose of this final report is to design a machine scroll saw for sawing wood planks. Design modifications scroll saw machine has several concepts with measures, among others, namely: the need, problem analysis and product specifications, product concept design, engineering analysis, and working drawings. The result of this final report is in the form of design as outlined in the working drawings include picture frame machine, pulli pictures, picture board work surface, and drawing arm mover. The capacity of the machine can scroll saw wood sawing reach with a thickness of 3 cm. Source of propulsion engine is an electric motor with a power of 0.25 HP. Engines modified scroll saw has a dimension of length x width x height is 1520 x 1200 x 650 mm. Material steel machine frame using L profile 40x40x4 mm galvanized material. Transmission shaft using a crankshaft.Transmission system using components of V-belts and pulleys 1 "and 6", work mat board and the driving arm using wood.
