Abstract

The final report entitled "The Application of Accelerometer in Monopod Stabilizer Using Servo". Monopod stabilizer created as a camera accessories that used to get the photos that are perpendicular 90o without the effect of the tilt angle of the camera received from various disorders, both from the user and the environment that led to the tilt. This device works automatically with electronic components such as the accelerometer that used to detect the tilt angle and servo motors which minimizes tilt angle to achieve a point perpendicular 90o. Accelerometer sensor located on a monopod that will detect a change in position with a certain angle and then sends a ADC signal to the Arduino Nano and do the mapping process to convert into angle servo motor. Next, Arduino Nano generates a PWM signal sent to the servo motor as servo motor control movement corresponding mapping results. Having received PWM servo motors, servo motors move to the position 90 ° back to the point perpendicular angle, move in opposite directions with the number of servo motor angle equal to the angle number of position changes Accelerometer. This device is expected to be useful for the camera to get the photos with perpendicular without any interference from the environment.
