Abstract

The objective of this Skripsi is to know the Business Feasibility Study and the effective strategy to achieve the goal which will be applied to develop the business at Toko Syafa Collection. The writer used the field research and field study technique to complete the research. The field research technique relied on the interview and the financial record which was done to the owner of Toko Syafa Collection as the main respondent of this research. The field study was used to find the references as many as possible that correlated with the Business Feasibility Study. The feasibility of business finance used five main criterias, they were; 1) Payback Period, 2) Net Present Value, 3) Profitability Index, 4) Internal Rate of Return and 5) Average Rate of Return. The writer used several assumption in completing the analysis such as 8,5% of inflation rate for each year, 11% of bank interest rate (taken from Bank Central Asia). The result of the analysis showed the business was financially feasible to develop the business, the details were; 1) the Payback Period showed the initial investment would be gained in 2 years, 3 months and 14 days while the minimum Payback Period set into 5 years. 2) The Net Present Value Showed Rp 707.322.756 in which the standard is NPV should higher than zero (NPV>0) or it had an absolute value. 3) The amount of the Profitability Index showed 1,87 in while the standard is PI should be higher than 1 (PI>1), 4) The amount of Internal Rate of Return showed 37,5%, by using the trial and error interest rate 35% until 40%, the standard was set into 30% of minimum trial and error interest rate. 5) The amount of Average Rate of Return showed 95,1%, the standard of financially feasible was set if the score was higher than the minimum accounting rate of return which was in this case was set into 50%. The Marketing Mix strategy that need to be skyrocketed was the promotional strategy that was advised to use social media as their new strategy and for the distribution problem, it was a suggestion that the owner need to add new suppliers.
