Abstract
Muara Beliti road – Lubuklinggau frontier is a road that connects cross the Central Cross Sumatra street and also the access road to the province of Bengkulu and Jambi. This road has very important role in promoting economic growth both locally and nationally. In this final project, the writer wanted to know how to planning the design of geometric and pavement thickness at Muara Beliti road – Lubuklinggau frontier correctly, so the road can provide a sense of security, convenient and economical for road users. Muara Beliti road – Lubuklinggau frontier planning, the writer design the planning based on the calculation of horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, and define the pavement would be used. From the calculation, this road classified as Class I Arterial road by the number of LHR in 31,479.13 SMP/day, which has 11 bends that 7-Circle Spiral bend-Spiral (SCS), 3 bends Full-Circle (FC) and 1 corner Spiral-Spiral (SS) with average speed - average 80 km/hour. Pavement types used are Flexible Pavement Aggregate Class B qith a thickness of 20 cm, thick Aggregate Class A 15 cm, thick AC–Base 18 cm, thick AC–BC –Mod 8 cm and thick AC–WC–Mod 7 cm. The construction of this road be held within 155 days of work with total fund Rp Rp 47,954,626,000,- (Forty-seven billion nine hundred and fifty-four million six hundred and twenty six thousand rupiah).
