Abstract

Evaluation measurement of insulation resistance on the output side Generator wescan unit 1 PT. PLN (Persero) Pembangkitan Sumbagsel Pembangkitan Sector Keramasan conducted to determine the quality of wescan generator unit 1. The data in this final report are collected through the measurement insulation resistance at Generator wescan unit 1 by using megger with a test voltage of 5000 volts DC and interview with the employees at PT.. PLN (Persero) Pembangkitan Sumbagsel Sektor Pembangkitan Keramasan. Based on the counting result the average insulation resistance / IR¬average before maintenance phase are R= 68,7 MΩ, phase S= 73,5 MΩ, phase T= 76,5 MΩ and the value Polarization Index (PI) is 1,2 while the average insulation resistance / IR¬average after the measurement are R= 68,7 MΩ, phase S= 73,5 MΩ, and phase T= 76,5 MΩ and the value Polarization Index (PI) is 2,1.
