Abstract
Indonesia is a maritimecountrywhichits 2/3 partarewaters. Itmakesitpossible for Indonesia todeveloprenewableenergycomesfromwater. Energy has become a necessityin human lifesinceall human activitiesareneedingtheenergy. Nowadaysfuelenergythatiswidelyusedcomesfromfossilfuelsandis not renewable. The rapiddepletion of fossilenergycauses human totryfindingtherenewableenergysource, one of themishydrogenfuel. The use of hydrogenfuelis not a newthing. Itisanabundantelementintheearth'sexistence. Fromvariousaspects, hydrogen has highpromisingsidesuch as environmental, natural resources, health, andothers. Productresultedfromtheuse of hydrogenenergyiswater. In thestate of vaporandice, thewateris not harmfulunlessitisusedin a negativeform. Byusingwaterwhichisverylarge on thisearthcanmakehydrogen as anpotentialalternativefuel. The process of obtaininghydrogenfromwateriscalledwaterelectrolysisprocess. Thisresearch has created a prototype of waterelectrolyzer. The waterusedinthisresearchis 6 literswiththechangedvariablewhichistheconcentration of NaOH 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50%. Hydrogen gas on the optimal productionisinconcentration of NaOHsolution of 50% withits volume is4,5902 Liter andmolepercent of hydrogenintheproductis 78.34%.
