Abstract

ANALYSIS OF THE RELEVANT COSTONSPECIAL ORDERATDEPOT MURAH MERIAH PALEMBANG Wina Maya Sari, 2016 (xiv+ 47pages) Email: winasari2005@yahoo.com The purpose of this final report is to determine the calculation of the relevant costs on special order at Depot Murah Meriah Palembang and to know the accuracy of the rejecting decision onspecial orders that taken by the company. Data cllexted through interviews with the owners of Depot Murah Meriah Palembang . The result of interviews and after doing the analysis, it is known that the company has not calculated the relevant cost on special order so that companies have difficulty in making decisions. The analysis showed that the relevant revenue is still greater than the relevant costs to be incurred, so if the company accept the special order still provide additional income for the company. The company's rejecting decision on special orders in 2015 is not appropriate because the company still have idle production capacity to manufacture special orders and the special orders are likely to increase profits. The companies should accept special orders and calculating relevant costs before making a decision on special orders.
