Abstract

The development of technology and communication which getting sophisticated and modern bring a lot of benefit in human’s life. One of the example is the use of short message service as a remote control of fan and led emergency which bassically use arduino uno, becomes the alternative technology. The application which use sms can help us to control led and fan from a far away. The tools use modern gsm sim 900 arduino uno, driver relay, inverter, and aki. One of the function of gsm is as a sender sms. When a modern sent a command to turn on the fan just type”Kipas on” so the fan will be on with temperature >25℃ and if you want to turn off the fan you can send a message”Kipas off” so the fan will turn off the led, the led will do as it. As a result of using the gsm can be concluded that gsm sim can send short message as sms. If you can turn off or turn on the fan and led emergency and also to maximalize the other function of handphone which not only can use as a tools of communication but also as a remote control from a far distance.
