Abstract

Dump Truckis oneunit ofheavy equipmentthatis almost always can be foundin the mining and construction process. In line with the development of science and technology in the modern era, a lot of simulations that have been created, bothin the form of simulation on the screen or in the size of the prototy pesimulation. The working principle in this simulation too lthat uses a DC electric motor as the driving, pneumatic system as moving dump to backward, use motor servo as moving dump to left side and right side and battery as the energy supplier. This tool can do that there is a general movementin theactualdump truck. Starting from the movement unload and can run. But a tthis tool in the process of combining the three movements are rear unload dump, left side dump and right side dump trucks which usually only have one dump unload process. Transport capacity of the tool that is equal to5kg and requires a servo motor as the driving rear dump and side dump because it has a torque of10kg/cm, while the forward and reverse motion is simulated using the wiper motor. The simulation consists of several parts:the substructure, the upper frame, tub, and a cabin that require total processing time for1440 minutes and require the production cost of Rp 2.980.000,-The results of planning simulation dump truck can also be used as a medium of teaching in the learning activities for the students of Departmentof Mechanical Engineering, State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya.
