Abstract

WAHYU PRAMUDHITA CAHYO DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRO ENGINEERING ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING STUDY PROGRAM STATE POLYTECHNIC OF SRIWIJAYA Universal motors are alternating current motors single phase that can be operated with two kinds of voltage source is a source of dc voltage and ac voltage source, such that the voltage regulation can be distinguished by two kinds of settings in the form of an ac voltage source and the setting in the form of a dc voltage source in setting the voltage source, the motor is very dependent on the size, voltage is given as well as the characteristics of the motor that changes the current anchor and rotation parameters will be affected by the load. From the research, the effect of loading on universal motors using dc and ac source will affect the flow of the round, flow anchor will rise with the increase in load that is given to the motor shaft will go down. Padas umber dc with zero torque as 4 nm nm revolution generated 2130rpm and 3000rpm be updrafts from 2.1 a to 2.94 amperes.
