Abstract

Design Of Miniature Controller Level and Floodgates Sei Bendung Palembang Using PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is designed in the form of miniature to simulate the control of Floodgates and water pumps automatically and semi-automatically based on the height of the water level using a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). Where PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) functions to control a DC motor and water pump in this design. In designing this tool, there are three conditions are normal, alert and danger. At condition standby power needed to lift the sluice is 0.0875 watts and the danger was 0.14 watts based on the calculation. Dc motors are used with a voltage of 12 VDC and a maximum current of 120 mA with a power of 1.44 watts. And use the pump to pump water with a voltage of 220 VAC and power 18 watts to discharge a maximum of 1000liters/hour or 0.27liters/sec.
