Abstract

Isolation transformer is one of the critical sections on power transformer, insulation deterioration or failure can cause failure of the operation or even damage the transformer. One method to determine the condition of the insulation is by testing the tangent delta. Tangent delta transformer testing can be done in several modes, namely GST, UST, GSTg. The measurement results tangent delta According to the standard IEEE 62-1995 states that the condition of the isolation transformer can be categorized Good if the value desipasi factor (DF) of less than 0.5%, are categorized acceptable if the value of the dissipation factor (DF) above 0.5% but still below 1% and categorized Should be investigated when the dissipation factor (DF) above 1%. In addition to the final report will be presented several measurement results tagen delta in PT PLN P3B suamtera UPT Bengkulu which includes a power transformer substation MuaraBungo 1, the power transformer substations MuaraBungo 2, the power transformer substations PagarAlam 1 and the power transformer substation PagarAlam 2.
