Abstract
The design of the detection speed and the counter number of vehicles based arduino uno using ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 is made to reduce the causes of accidents and can easily see the speed of vehicles passing through the road is still in the conditions set and to know the number of vehicles passing through the road. This device is a simulation to detect the speed and calculating the number of vehicles. This system would work when a vehicle passes the road that had been installed two HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor. HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor is used as a vehicle speed detection and a second ultrasonic sensors are used to determine the number of passing vehicles and all the data will be processed by the arduino uno and will generate output to see the speed and the number of such vehicles on the LCD. When a vehicle passes the road by exceeding the maximum speed limit that has been set then the ultrasonic sensor detects the speed of the vehicle. then send it to arduino uno then displayed through the LCD and Wavecom modem will send sms form vehicle speed exceeds the maximum speed limit has been set.
