Abstract

This final report describes about control the electronic equipment using applause-switch who will be activated when clapping/rangthe hands. So simply by clapping/rang hand, we can control electronic equipment without having to press on-off button on the manual switch. The applause-switch can be applied to electronic equipment such as lights, fans, radios, televisions, VCD players and others. To be able to control the electronic tools necessary to use applause-switch sound sensor. Where the mic condenser on a sound sensor that will take clapping sound and converts it into an electrical signal. Not only the sound sensor, microcontroller ATMega8 also applied to control this electronic equipment. Where the ATMega8 microcontroller serves to control the work tool using the command BASCOM-AVR program. With this tool is expected to help us to turn on or off electronic equipment with the applause-switch.
