Abstract

This final report discusses about students' opinions of the importance of English camp program to students English skill in English department of state Polytechnic of Sriwijaya. The purpose of this report is to know how important is English Camp to improve students communication in English Department of State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya. The writer collected the data by using questionnaire. The writer analyzed and made the percentage of score agreement by using likert scale formula. Based on the findings, the result of the percentage shows 41,7%, students stated strongly agree, 42,9% agree, 12,9% is the category neutral 2,9% chose disagree, and 0% is strongly disagree. Finally, the writer would like to suggest that English Camp should be held every year and invite some other countries in ASEAN, besides Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand with the purpose to make the students can socializa with more different ethnics.
