Abstract
This research is focused on how to write a novel entitled “Journey of Heart” written in English language. The purpose of this research is to producethe novel entitled “Journey of Heart” that promotes some tourism objects in Palembang. The research and development (R&D) method modified by Sukmadinata (2005) was used in this study. The method consists of three steps: preliminary study, model development, and final product testing. In writing the novel for purpose to promote tourism objects, knowledge about novel, information about tourism objects, and English writing skill knowledge were really needed. In developing the novel draft, the criticism and suggestions provided by experts were very valuable.
