Abstract
This research is focused on how to design a “Website for Guiding Backpackers to Come to Palembang” written in both English and Indonesian languages. The Research and Development Method modified by Sukmadinata (2005) consisting of preliminary study, model development and final product testing was used in this study. In designing the website, knowledge about tourism destination, accommodation and culinary tourism that offer affordable prices, English and Indonesian writing skills, knowledge and skills about website design were really needed. In developing the website, the comments and suggestions from the experts were valuable.
