Abstract
This research aims at designing story book of the legend of “ Putri Biyuku” for children. The purpose of writing this final report are to make the children know about the legend, to know how to design story book telling about the legend “Putri Biyuku” for children and to know the content of the story book about “PutriBiyuku” for children. A development research method developed by Sukmadinata is used in this research. The problem is how to design story book of the legend “Putri Biyuku” that is suitable for children. The research instruments used are preliminary study, development of product, and testing. Based on the finding, the writer made a design that can attract the children to know more about the legend of “Putri Biyuku”. The conclusion and suggestion of this story book will be one of story books that can give the good impact for children started from the content and the design.
