Abstract

In the industrial world, fluid flow monitoring is very important in a process industry such as a refinery, power plant and petrochemical industry. In such a process industry, it requires the quantity determination of a fluid (liquid, gas or steam) flowing through a measurement point, either in a closed channel (pipeline) or open channel. To re-evaluate the fluid substance monitoring tool (liquid) the author makes a Design of Monitoring Equipment Flow Water With Wireless Media Based Microcontroller ATmega328 ". In the design section, this tool uses waterflow sensor, Radio Frequency Transmitter & Receiver. Waterflow sensor serves to calculate the amount of flow of flowing water flowing in a pipe in the flow of water, while Radio frequency Transmitter on the microcontroller circuit to deliver the data in the form of data sent to the Radio Frequency Receiver and will be displayed on the LCD whether there is a leak or not. What distinguishes the research that the authors do is in terms of microcontroller media in the form of Microcontroller ATMega328 or Arduino is very practical in programming the tool then wireless form of radio frequency cheap and fast to transmit data signals from the transmitter to the receiver by using wireless technology.
