Abstract
Solar Cell is a device made of a circuit consisting of two layers or more of semiconductor layer supported by other devices to improve efficiency. In its development, solar cell is widely used in garden lighting automatically. In addition to the beauty, the use of solar cells in garden lighting automatically controlled arduino uno also can save the use of electrical energy. The process of solar light absorption in the solar cell is driven by servo motors, so the solar cell will move to follow the sunlight detected by the LDR. Thus, the maximum voltage and current generated occurs when the solar cell is in the position of 900 for 13.06 Vdc and current of 0.65 Idc with measured light intensity of 76800 lux and absorbed power is 8.48 W. Meanwhile, the resulting minimum voltage and current occur when The solar cell is at an 1800 angle of 11.17 Vdc and a current of 0.01 Idc and the absorbed power is 0.11 W with a measured light intensity of 0 lux which is indicated by a light that illuminates automatically when it detects the absence of sunlight absorbed. The absorbed energy is then stored inside the battery. In the treatment, there are three methods of treatment and battery checks.
