Abstract

Measuring instrument height and weight of the human body is digitally based arduino mega, ultrasonic (proximity sensor) and flexiforce (pressure sensor) is a tool that serves to measure the value of a quantity length / height and weight on the body / physical person based on specific units with the aim of making A series of height and weight measuring instruments with digital displays using proximity sensors and pressure sensors and know the performance of the height and weight measuring instruments with digital displays using pressure sensors and proximity sensors. This tool also aims to facilitate people in knowing the height and weight of his own body. And also beneficial for every puskesmas which if want to get data about weight and height faster. The working principle of this tool is based ultrasonic ray rays and the pressure of an object. The system design includes the working principle of flexiforce sensor (pressure sensor), ultrasonic sensors (proximity sensor), arduino, microcontroller atmega 2560, and seven segment. The circuit system of this tool is a circuit capable of changing a long and heavy quantity so it can be processed and displayed in the form of electrical systems. In making the amount of change is used two sensors that can convert the amount of height and weight. The change process by changing the distance and weight into an analog voltage using ultrasonic sensors (proximity sensor) andflexiforce (pressure sensor). After the signal conditioning process is strengthened, analog voltage is converted into digital data. The digital data obtained is then processed by Arduino and displayed. The results display the numbers are information about the measurement of weight and height. The performance results of this tool has an average measurement error of 0.24% for height measurement and 1.66% for weight measurement. Limitations of height measurement from 100cm to 160cm and weight gain of only 45kg.
