Abstract
Bankruptcy Prediction In Sector Media Which Listed In Indonesia Stock Exchange Sevira Dita Karina, (Seviraditakarina@ymail.com) 2014 (xiv + 49 pages) The objectives of this study is to predict bankruptcy in sector advertising, printing, media companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange applying the Altman Z-Score method. The data used in this study are secondary data be in the form of financial statements published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the year 2009-2011. This research is quantitative research with multiple discriminant analysis method. This research used company financial report to analyze. Based on application of Altman Z-Score method, the results of the three advertising companies showed that one of them company are estimated as bankrupt for three consecutive years and in healthy condition for last year that is PT Indosiar Karya Media Tbk, one companies in the susceptible condition PT Fortune Indonesia Tbk, and for four consecutive years the condition of companies financial PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk is not stable.
